A Celebration of Love and Joy - W.V.M.
WVM's December Community Meeting was a truly joyful occasion and doubled as our Annual Christmas Special. Our International Choir sang "Joy to the Word," our Polish Choir sang "Dzisiaj W Betlejem" (Today in Bethlehem) and Bonnie sang in both Polish and English "I'd Like to be a Christmas Tree." We also upheld the special Polish "Oplatek" tradition, by collectively sharing a wafer as a symbol of peace with one another and peace with God.

Besides acknowledging the invaluable efforts of all our partners, we recognised the outstanding 2009 roles played by Erika, Peter, and Iwona.

Vice Principal Chris Uden (right) at IAS had coordinated much of the event, including recruiting Santa and his elves (left), and involving each class with collecting presents and food etc. Angela (left below) and Kristina had also labored tirelessly for days, preparing aid boxes from all the donated groceries and household supplies, and of course, the gifts... Thank you all once again for helping us to impact many lives for the better in 2009. We trust that your Christmas season was also blessed, and that 2010 will be all that you hope and dream it can be.
