November Community Meeting & Thanksgiving Celebration
WVM's November Community Meeting, which took place at Dom Kutury Stoklosy on Sunday the 22nd, doubled as a "Thanksgiving" Celebration. A nice catered lunch was sponsored for all. Peter shared about the origins and meaning behind the American national holiday, Steve sang, and both Andrzej and Mike presented inspirational thoughts on thankfulness. Emphasis was placed on being thankful on the difficult days too, with such verses as 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances" and Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always."
