Aid Packages to inmates lacking family support

Thanks to the generosity of members of local partner church “International Christian Fellowship,” many of the women at the Grochow penitentiary are able to receive basic hygienic products.  Due to limited resources in the Polish state budget, these are normally provided by family and friends.  As many of these women are actually in prison due to poverty and non payment of bills, these basic needs would otherwise be lacking.  A big “thank you” to all who are donating, and of course to all of our enthusiastic volunteers who are bringing not only material aid, but a vital message of hope and comfort.  As the obvious goal of Correctional Facilities is rehabilitation, this type of love and kindness shown can make the difference between inmates becoming better or bitter.
