WVM Community Meetings

WVM Community Meetings are held on a monthly basis and bring together people from many different aspects of our Foundation.  Members and graduates of our "Families in Crisis" program attend, as do graduates of our "Life Impact" project.  Many of these participants have social needs and therefore are often able to collect donated food and clothes etc. at these events. 

Volunteers, friends, and WVM supporters are of course a vital part of proceedings.  Many of these associates lend a hand in facilitating distribution of goods, and serving refreshments, and some also provide a listening ear to attendees who are in challenging circumstances. 

This key event in our regular activities evolved from a lively "Seeker's Haven" club discussion in January 2008, entitled "Building Authentic Community."  For those who've met us at "Seeker's Haven," the Community Meetings provide an ideal opportunity to observe how high ideals discussed there have more relevance with practical application.  Our programs are varied, though often include live music and inspirational speakers.
