Background and Vision

One of WVM's primary goals is a truly Ecumenical approach to Christian faith, and hence our staff and volunteers are generally from a variety of religious backgrounds and traditions.  At various types of meetings organised by the Foundation, focus is placed on the major Biblical truths and principles that all Christians subscribe to.  Therefore denominational ties are not an issue among our team members.  It is our conviction that there is enough common ground for all types of Christians to build on together, and that if we would do so, the results would line up well with our beliefs, hopes and aspirations.

Although we have always encouraged attendees at our meetings to seek out a group or church of believers to connect with, we recognise and accept that the majority of participants have difficulty in finding one that they would like to attend on a regular basis.  Therefore in order to provide better service to those wishing to take their Christian experience to a more meaningful level, we are currently organising a fellowship based on our unified Christian vision. This fellowship may serve a dual role, providing both a supportive environment for those unable find a suitable church, while also functioning as a faith building supplement for those who already belong to a body of believers.
